How to do Business with Us
Collaborative Procurement Process
-
A collaborative procurement process begins when a GBAPPC member signals a need for a good or service that may be a shared commodity with other public agencies (e.g. road salt) and invites those agencies to participate in a joint procurement.
-
A lead agency is determined and will solicit requirements from members participating in the procurement.
-
Agencies work together to define scope, gather individual requirements, and prepare bid documents.
Our Process
-
The lead agency issues and manages the competitive bid process in accordance with their policies, procedures and by-laws governing the bid process.
-
Lead agency confirms compliance and issues results to all participating agencies
-
Each participating agency is a separate legal entity. They awards their portion of the contract and issue purchase orders to the successful bidder/proponent.
